Worst arrogant recepionist hv ever come across.Im a scan angel and found an injured cat who was chipped and took her to vet receptionist to seek help contacting owner of the cat. I provided microchip details to receptionist n she said she look into it. After this i waited 30 minutes watching her deal with customers without any update.when i asked how long u will take she replied tat she dealing with other customers so when she find time she will contact. I said she could tell me this 30 min earlier tat she didnt even try to make contact as she was prioritising her customers coz i would not hv wasted my time n taken her to other vets. She replied "tats fine" if u want to go u can. NO APOLOGY no empathy. I stormed out n called the lodege vets who resolved it over the phone in 5 minutes. This is the difference between good vets n horrible vets. Management need to caution this receptionist for he arrogance and unproffesionalism. Zero empathy for pets

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Vets for Pets Stechford. Yesterday (29th June), I tried calling repeatedly from 9:00am until around 12:30pm, and not once did anyone answer the phone. My cat has been unwell with stomach issues and hasn’t been eating, so I needed to buy the special food she has been prescribed. As I couldn’t get through, I drove to the practice. When I asked if there was a problem with the phones, I was told that a new member of staff was being trained. The new employee was sitting beside the receptionist, and I witnessed the phones being left off the hook. The receptionist simply pressed a button while the phones remained off the hook, meaning no calls were coming through. Given the recent heatwave, I can only imagine how many owners were trying to contact the practice with seriously unwell pets. It is deeply concerning that no contingency appeared to be in place while staff training was taking place. To make matters worse, I tried calling again this morning and still received no answer. As a result, I have now had to register my cat with a different veterinary practice because I no longer have confidence that I could rely on this one in an emergency. I find this level of service completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Training new staff is important, but it should never come at the expense of answering calls from worried pet owners, especially when animals may need urgent care. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone trying to contact this practice with a sick or injured pet.

Very professional

I would like to leave a review for Zaynab at the vets. She made me feel so at ease when my cat went in to be spayed. Her calm and caring nature was exactly what I needed during a very anxious time. She was incredibly kind and gentle with my cat, Sassy, and it was clear that she truly cares about the animals she looks after. Because of her, what could have been a very stressful experience became so much easier for me. I struggle with quite bad anxiety, but Zaynab’s reassurance, kindness, and professionalism made the whole experience so much nicer. She really is amazing and clearly made for the job. I’m very grateful for the care she gave both me and Sassy.

We took our cat Ziggy to Stechford Vets for Pets this evening and were greeted warmly by the lovely receptionist, Carol, who was incredibly helpful when Ziggy’s appointment wasn’t showing on the system. Despite this, Ziggy was still seen by a wonderful vet who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and put both us and Ziggy at ease. We were extremely worried, but her calm and cheerful manner really reassured us — Ziggy must have felt it too as he was very cooperative. Great vets, lovely staff, highly recommend.
