My local vet recommended Garvey Vets for a very poorly stray male cat called Tom-tom who had never been to the vets, handled or stroked. Jack came out same day and managed a difficult situation with insight, expertise, care and compassion. Jack explained his illness in detail and after i had weighed up the options it was time to say goodbye to a cat i had fed for years and until 3 weeks ago had never wanted to come indoors. Jack also arranged his cremation. Tom-tom is now at peace and so am i knowing that he is not suffering anymore. Thankyou Jack for the wonderful unique service you provide for us and all fur babies.

Garvey Vets were very friendly, professional, and supportive with the treatment of my pet. They went above and beyond by not only providing the initial care requested, but also provided recommendations for care of my pet to reduce the risk of further callouts, underlining the importance of welfare of the animal. 10/10, I would recommend this vet to all my friends and family. Garvey Vets were the perfect solution to help with my 2 golden retrievers; 1 dislikes going to the vets, 1 is dog reactive so vet waiting rooms are really hard for us both. Jack was fab, coming 4 weeks on the trot to give them both their pain relief injections. No stress for the dogs. No stress for me. Cooper loved greeting Jack at the front door with his fluffy goose in his mouth! Such a positive experience for both dogs. Thank you Jack!

I came upon Jack Garvey whilst walking Meg our 13 year old Black Labrador where I met his father out walking their 3 dogs and I was telling him about the very poor service that we had received from two of our local vets and he suggested I contact Jack who he was sure could help. Well Jack came to see Meg and diagnosed Meg's serious condition straight away (not like the local vets) and he has been able to give her several months of calm and pain-free life. Unfortunately, a few days ago she went off her legs and we suspected the end was near and Jack came out within 2 hours and confirmed our suspicions but he dealt with her in the most professional and caring manner for which we are so grateful. If you need a vet give Jack a ring because we know that you will not find a more professional and caring vet.
